The Devil's tracks
Deviation Actions
Literature Text
Be careful if you do,
For the devil watches,
And he’s waiting for you.
Hair like crimson,
Eyes of green,
A sharped tooth smile,
Like you’ve never seen
The girl walked forward,
Fear unknown,
Down the tracks,
To the devil’s home
Welcome, welcome,
Hissed the snake
Her body shivered,
Her legs did quake
Welcome to
My humble home
What are doing
All alone?
Eyes of emeralds,
Hair of night,
Her voice was quiet,
Full of fright
There’s a man,
I wish no more
Why I came
To your door
Scars he left
Pain I felt
Vengeance I seek
His turn to be dealt
Hear my plea,
Man of fire,
I want him to feel,
All my ire.
Hurt him as,
He has done me
So then my soul,
Can be free
So the devil heard
The young girl's cry,
Smile he did
A glimmer in his eye
Vengence is,
Yours to take
But a contract
We will make
Your soul,
To be set free,
In ten years time,
Will belong to me
Take my hand,
Shake it firm,
Then your back,
You will turn
You will see me no more,
Until your time,
When ten years pass,
And you hear the chime
Take my hand,
Be not afraid,
Our deal is done,
His death is made
And the devil’s hand
She did take,
Giving it a firm,
Solid shake
And the devil smiled
Eyes aglow
“Run home now,
Don’t be slow”
His fate is sealed,
Our contract done,
Your revenge,
Is to be won
Home the girl ran,
And the devil did grin,
For there’s a new child,
To fall into sin
